This weeks readings and question of the week:

Take time to mediate on God’s word and prepare for worship this Sunday. And as you meditate on them, consider the Question of the Week:
How attentive will I be in listening for the cues about the kind of prayers our loving God wishes to hear from me?

PSALM 34:2-3, 17-19, 23
I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall be ever in my mouth. Let my soul glory in the LORD; the lowly will hear me and be glad.

The LORD confronts the evildoers, to destroy remembrance of them from the earth. When the just cry out, the Lord hears them, and from all their distress he rescues them.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. The LORD redeems the lives of his servants; no one incurs guilt who takes refuge in him.

Our time of worship together is a time to Bless the Lord! Being part of a regular worship program is pleasing to God and bring blessings to others – we invite you to join us each Sunday as we Worship together!
Know that God is with you – even when it seems everyone else has abandoned you, God is there. Sometimes it seems even God has abandoned you – you can’t see him. But its in those times that he is so close to you, holding you up. Take refuge in him, find peace close to God. He seeks to bring you his rest!

annualmeetingAnnual Meeting – Sunday, November 6 – 2:30 pm

All Souls Annual Meeting takes place each year on our Feast Day. It is a time for us to reflect on the past year, set some goals for the future, and enjoy the blessings of God on All Souls.

We will also have some official business, such as a report from the ECC Synod, budget report, and election of board members. We will be also asking for your feedback!

This does serve as our POT-LUCK for November. The Board will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs. You are invited to bring side dishes, snacks, drinks, and deserts!
