Good News from All Souls – 01/27/2024

Weekly News & Bulletin

January 27, 2024

Sunday: 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time

To comply with new industry requirements for sending out bulk emails, your weekly GOOD NEWS will be sent from this new email address: allsouls@allsoulsECC.ccsend.com, rather than our normal church email. Please make this new address a “safe” email or part of your contacts to ensure you will continue to get the weekly Good News or other bulk emails we send from All Souls /Constant Contact. Our regular church email remains the same: allsoulsecc@gmail.com

Good Thyme for Life will be here soon! (March 8). We are currently seeking items for our raffle – Baskets filled with goodies or other items that can be used as raffle prizes. All funds go toward Co-County Wellness Services.

If you have questions about what can be used as a raffle prize or want some ideas for baskets, please see Wendy or any board member.

NOTICE THE CHANGE?

At our Annual Meeting in November, we talked about a “refresh” to the format of the weekly Good News. The new format was rolled out at the start of the new year, with the January 6 edition. What do you think of the new format and organization?

We welcome any feedback or suggestions. Please speak to Jerry directly or email us at AllSoulsECC@gmail.com. Thank you!

ECC Holy Synod of 2024

Did you know the ECC parishes meet every two years? We pray, vision and celebrate together the gift of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion for years to come! We meet, we worship, we vote – but most of all we enjoy the fellowship of our blessed communion.

You can go as a voting delegate or just as a member. If you are interested in finding out more please talk to anyone who has gone before – Jerry, Henry, Kimmie, Joan, or Ben. Anyone is welcome to go.

Save the dates: October 11 – 14, 2024 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado

Although this is months away – we start planning our delegation and travel plans by summer. So give it some thought!
