Weekly News & Bulletin

April 5, 2025

Sunday: 5th Sunday of Lent

This year, we will be doing a special Lenten offering. Coin containers will be available in the Vestibule. Please collect your loose coins in the containers during Lent. Containers can be turned in on Palm Sunday or at Easter Vigil. The monies collected will be used to provide a meal at Opportunity House.

Easter Flower envelopes are available for people who would like to make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone. These names will be published in the Easter Vigil bulletin. The last day to make a donation will be Palm Sunday.

You may also donate via ZELLE or PayPal – but be sure to put EASTER FLOWERS in the memo. And then email us to let us know if who they are

“Red Cards / Tarjetas Rojas” are cards which can easily be carried on one’s person to have available in case their rights and protections (guaranteed under the US Constitution) are threatened. All people have certain rights, regardless of immigration status. In the case of an unexpected threatening situation it may be difficult to recall those rights. The cards are useful tools to help in this case, to help one remember. The number of a legal counselor can also be printed on it in case of emergency..

This website explains the cards, and gives access to free templates to print your own
