Sunday: 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

PRAYER FLAG

You can be a part of the upcoming East Coast ECC Retreat even if you can’t attend in person.

We will be creating a prayer flag as a community reflecting the theme of hope and an expression of our community. We have designed our flag, and parishioners can all contribute the next two Sundays.

VOTE TODAY!

Please complete the poll below.

On September 12-14, Fr. Henry, Jerry, Joan, and Ben will be representing All Souls at the East Coast ECC Retreat. On Sunday, all the parishes in the East Coast will join together for Mass at the retreat. It will be live streamed on our YouTube Channel.

Last October for the ECC Synod, the Sunday mass was at 12 pm EST, so we streamed it live in the Heritage Room/Parlor at 12 noon and enjoyed the mass together on the large TV.

For this retreat the mass will be at 9:30 am on September 14. This leaves some options. We can watch the recording together at 11 am or 12 pm. Or folks can watch the live mass at 9:30 am at home. We would like your feedback! Please click below to let us know your preference.

COVID-19 cases are once again rising across the United States, and health experts believe a new variant, called XFG or ‘stratus,’ may be to blame. The increase is happening earlier than expected, and we are also entering cold and flu season!!!

Please try to stay healthy! We just want everyone to be cautious. If you are not feeling well, please test or quarantine until you are feeling better.

Prayer of the Week: Heavenly Father, In the mighty name of Jesus,

On this day of recognition for labor, we express our gratitude for every blessing and provision. Help us to remain thankful for the ability to work and for the provisions that You have granted us through our labors.

I come before You with gratitude for the skills, opportunities, and resources that allow me to contribute meaningfully. I dedicate my labor to You, asking for Your guidance and strength. Bless the work of my hands and help me to do all things with excellence and integrity.

For those seeking employment or facing challenges at work, I pray for Your provision and favor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
