After our

“ALL SAINTS/ALL SOULS MASS”

Please plan to stay after service if you are able for about 30-45 minutes for our annual meeting.

We would love your input and ideas of what else we can do to promote social justice, care for our neighbors, and promote equity. So come with your ideas!

Hospitality Volunteers Needed: Ever wonder how the coffee gets made, the table set, and snacks put our for our fellowship hour?

Its VOLUNTEERS!

And we could use some help! You basically arrive about 11-11:15 am on the Sunday you volunteer for – get the coffee pots out, prepare the coffee, get out paper products, and snacks. Then help clean up when done (if possible – but set up is the main need).

We are also looking for volunteer to be GREETERS! Greeting also get to service about 20 minutes early to welcome regulars and visitors to our mass, make sure they sign-in and get their bulletin and hymnal. If they are visitors, help answer any questions they might have.

If you have questions, want to get trained, or get on the schedule – please see any board member!

Impact of federal policies on vulnerable communities:  What you need to know

President Trump signed a number of executive orders (EOs) that impact vulnerable communities, specifically transgender and immigrant communities, and rescinded a number of previous EOs that protected these communities.

The following slide deck was recently shared with us from the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania talking about the impact of recent executive orders and its impact. Click below to see the slide deck.

Prayer of the Week:

Heavenly Father,

As I enter November, help me cultivate a heart of gratitude. May I see Your blessings in every moment and thank You for Your endless goodness. Open new doors of opportunity this November. Guide my steps and help me recognize and embrace the blessings You provide. Grant me strength and endurance as I move through this month. Help me to rely on Your power to face any challenges that lie ahead. Fill my heart with peace and joy. Help me to carry a calm spirit and radiate joy to those around me. Amen
